This year we opted to run the triple triple sleds as a demonstration-only class. This means we did not put the sled through the usual dyno testing and tech inspection. We allowed the dealers to perform their prep work and run them down the lane.
We had a Thundercat and SRX from Big Moose Arctic Cat/ Yamaha at our disposal. White Lake Polaris and Smith Marine informed us that they did not order any XCRs or Mach Zs this year, so we left them out of the program. Neither of those sled had much renovation from 2001 to 2002, so for approximate performance information, check out last year's Shoot-Out results.
