polaris to drop dvds into sled trunks

Polaris will be dropping a free DVD into the trunks of all of its 2004 snowmobiles. On the disc is an extensive overview of each model group's adjustments and pre-ride inspection and maintenance points.

"With so many industry leading suspension options available from Polaris including a multitude of premium shock options, the 2004 Polaris snowmobile Care and Adjusting DVD makes it even easier for Polaris owners to fine tune their ride for maximum performance and comfort," said Polaris External Communications Coordinator Pat Bourgeois.

The DVD replaces the VHS tape found in previous models and should prove to be a more user-friendly and informative format than the old video tape. "The interactive capabilities of a DVD allows customers to choose their snowmobile and their riding style," Bourgeois said. "From there, the Polaris DVD delivers specific maintenance, tuning and suspension set-up information."

The DVD outlines how to adjust just about everything on any Polaris sled, from the passenger backrest on the Classic Touring to the clicker shocks on the ProX2. For more information on the DVD, stop by your local dealership.
