polaris names new director of international operations

Mike Dougherty will take over as Director of International Operations for Polaris Industries when the current director, Dick Pollick, retires in September.
Dougherty had been living in France for two years while working with the company's European sales.

"We're excited to have Mike in this key position for Polaris," said Tom Tiller, president and CEO of Polaris. "I am confident that in his new role, Mike will further establish Polaris as a dominant global brand and help us achieve company objectives and goals."

Dougherty and Pollick will work closely throughout the next few months to insure a smooth transition.

As director for three years, Pollick helped to build Polaris into an international business. He was a key player in establishing a dealer direct network in France, Australia and the United Kingdom.
