polaris frontier touring gets bat cert

Amsnow
The 2005 Polaris Frontier Touring has joined the elite group of sleds that meet Best Available Technology (BET) standards set by the U.S. Interior Department and will be among the sleds that fit the requirements to enter Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, if current legislation is approved.

The company learned of the certification when Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton visited Polaris Industries Medina, Minn., headquarters Oct. 12, but announced Oct. 20.

This is the sixth Polaris 4-stroke sled to receive the certification. Other Polaris models that continue to meet BAT standards include the 2002-'04 Frontier Touring and the 2003-'04 Frontier Classic
