polaris expands pro snocross effort

Polaris Industries will be expanding its professional snocross racing effort by adding new members to its ranks, including an established team.

Polaris officially announced the sealing of a deal with Team Amsoil/Scheuring Speed Sports to ride red for the next two seasons. "The addition of DJ Eckstrom and Justin Tate to Team Polaris is tremendous," commented Polaris Race Manager Tom Rager in the statement. "they not only achieved outstanding results last year, but they bring with them a tradition of success in the WSA."

Polaris will also bring Semi-Pro driver Shaun Crapo up to the Pro level for the coming season. He'll be racing with his older brother, Kurtis, out of the Team Performance Solutions Racing trailer.

Carl Schubitzke and Michael Island will return to the track on Polaris as well.
