polaris establishes swedish subsidiary

Polaris announced it intends to have a wholly-owned subsidiary operating in Sweden by the beginning of November to handle snowmobiles, ATV, PWC and related PG&A. the new operation will allow Polaris to deal directly with its customers and dealers in Norway and Sweden, providing better efficiency for the dealers and increased margins for Polaris. The company's 15-year relationship with Scandinavian distributor Loxkel A/S will come to an end incrementally this year.

"Loxkel has contributed to the growth of Polaris through its strong dealer relations and focus on the customer. We look forward to offering our dealers in Sweden and Norway, our largest European markets, the same high level of service."
