Polaris snowmobile racing has brought Tom Rager Sr., Tom Rager Jr., and Bill Rader to its race personnel as race team managers. Tom Rager Sr., formerly of Ski-Doo racing, has joined Polaris as race team manager. Tom Rager Jr., will oversee technical support for Polaris racers and teams and Bill Rader will serve as racing coordinator. Both Rager Jr. and Rader were part of Tom Rager Sr.'s Ski-Doo racing effort.
"I cherish the opportunity to oversee the racing program of a brand with such rich snowmobile racing heritage," Rager Sr. said. "Polaris has the technology, the racers and the racing support required to develop a winning program. We're optimistic about our chances to win major championships and the sport's premier races."
Rager Jr. and Rader will provide Polaris race teams and individual racers with technical support including distribution of race sleds and parts, ongoing distribution of technical information and hands-on technical support at race tracks. They will also be involved in the development of new race sleds with a focus on providing racers with information on how to set up their sleds for optimum performance.
The three will be based in Wausau, Wisconsin.
