polaris adds experience to its board of directors

Polaris appointed three new members to its Board of Directors, William E. Fruhan, Jr., R.M. (Mark) Schreck, and J. Richard (Dick) Stonesifer were added to the board, increasing the number of directors from nine to twelve.
"We are excited to have added the expertise of Bill, Mark and Dick to our board," said W. Hall Wendel Jr., Polaris Chairman, "Their experience in management and engineering will fit well with the growth strategies we plan to achieve."
Mr. Fruhan holds degrees from Yale and Harvard, is an author and was one of the early developers of the concept of value-based management, and currently conducts his research in developing business level and corporate strategies aimed at enhancing shareholder values.
Mr. Schreck is a registered professional engineer in electric and mechanical engineering and he holds six U.S. patents. He was employed by General Electric for 25 years, and retired from GE in 1998. He holds degrees from the University of Detroit and Marquette University.
Mr. Stonesifer is a graduate of Teterboro School of Aeronautics and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He also worked at General Electric beginning in 1959 and retired in 1996. He currently owns his own company, is a management consultant and serves on several boards.
