SnoLand'r
SnoLand'r trailers have a special frame design for increased strength. "We use a steel undercarriage because it holds up better than aluminum," says Don Rusch of SnoLand'r. "It's galvanized so it won't rust. Cross members on the front and back also provide added support."

Available in a 10-foot model, the SnoLand'r features a special floor design that uses only two pieces of 4x8 treated plywood. Other companies need a third 2x8 sheet. The concept is simple: Front and rear cross pieces are a foot wide, proving the additional two feet. The front piece is also bowed up to form a rock shield.

The undercarriage of the deluxe SnoLand'r is galvanized, but the front and back are protected with Galvanneal® -an anti-corrosion product that adheres to paint. Rusch says this is an important feature, but that the new t-bar is the main attraction. It eliminates the need to bolt into the deck and works like an arm with an over-center clamp-down. The 1996 SnoLand'r offering also features a self-locking mechanism that keeps the trailer in an upright position while loading a second sled.
