nssr expands asphalt racing eastward

Long known for conducting snocross events in the East, Vermont-based Rock Maple Racing will work in conjunction with National Snowmobile Straightline Racing to expand asphalt drag racing to the East.
Headed by Nancy Fink, Rock Maple Racing becomes the first division of NSSR and will organize and oversee asphalt racing in New England, New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Current plans call for three eastern division events at Lebanon Valley Raceway.The events will be run under the auspices of NSSR to include governance under NSSR rules. Rules have been established for the 1999 season and rulebooks will be available from NSSR or Rock Maple Racing in mid-December.
