At the first NSA Pro Stock asphalt points race this season, Ed Armstrong from Holyoke, Mass., took the win on Saturday, June 2nd from the #2 qualifying spot. Jason Dunigan gave Armstrong a run in the final with his better reaction time, but Armstrong's sled was quicker, earning him the win. Kristin Stanley and Jeff Cullen rounded out the top half of the ladder with each of them earning the semi-final finish and prize money.
Though rain threatened the event, 17 Pro Stock sleds made the trip to N.Y. With temps in the mid 90's, impressive numbers were still displayed from all the teams.
