The 4th Annual New York Snow Run, held March 1st at The Ole Barn in Inlet, N.Y., was a huge success this year. There were 300 participants coming from as far away as Michigan to honor the memory of those they love, raising $56,000 for individuals battling breast cancer.
The Snow Run is an organized snowmobile ride featuring different rider ability groups that are guided by trail leaders through the trails of Inlet and Old Forge, N.Y. More than 100 miles were trekked by groups divided into 10-12.
This year Reata Patterson from Watertown, N.Y., won the award for raising the most funds for the cause, $6,058. The award and prize was sponsored by Camoplast Tracks and Woody's Inc.
Jane Cameron and Lisa Parker were presented with $500 each in survivor assistance from the Pink Ribbon Riders Assistance Fund, which is available to anyone diagnosed in the US that applies. For more info see

The amount raised at the event was $56,000, and the number is still growing thanks to those who have a love and passion for the sport and for helping other people.
