michigan snowmobile association members take pledge

Amsnow
In Michigan, the Michigan Snowmobile Association is encouraging members and snowmobilers in general to take the pledge of "Zero Tolerance." Zero tolerance for alcohol.

It means zero. None. Not even one drink or beer until the snowmobile is parked and the keys are put away for the day.

It's a stance that isn't taken lightly. The MSA is providing a ski loop wrap to any MSA member who returns a Zero Tolerance pledge card to the MSA office. The tag wraps around your ski loop- but does not stick on, nor is it permanent. As MSA states, "It's just something to catch the attention of other snowmobilers, prompting them to ask you what it's all about. When you explain Zero Tolerance to them, just maybe, we will get some riders off the trail who are endangering our kids, our spouses and ourselves."

Please don't drink and ride. For more information, contact the MSA Office, 5363 Plainfield Ave. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
