When you look at Load Pro, you just shake your head and ask yourself: "Why didn't I think of that?" This product is designed to fit neatly into the back of virtually any pickup box allowing you to easily load your sled, ATV or motorcycle. So, just because you switch seasonal motor toys doesn't mean you need to switch the Load Pro.
Snowmobile loading doesn't get much easier! Use Load Pro with the optional high performance polyethylene Snow Pro ski slides on which your sled's carbides glide. A ribbed profile helps guide the skis on and off the Load Pro. The high traction surface of the Loading Platform provides ample drive-on grip for your sled's track to bite and scoot up into the back of your pickup.
Whether you have a short box or a long sled, the Loading Platform can be locked in a partially open position to provide support for the track when transporting. The Support Extension works like an "ultra heavy duty" drawer slide, which slides out with the Loading Platform above the tailgate.
Once extended it supports the end of the Loading Platform so the weight on the tailgate is minimized.
The Loading Platform is designed to provide maximum traction and stability for loading. The perforated surface provides aggressive traction and allows dirt and snow to fall through. The reinforced steel construction can handle a 1,500 lb. load and is zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
The Loading Platform Pivot is connected to the Support Extension, which prevents the Loading Platform from shifting during loading. The pivot allows for loading at almost any approach angle including elevations higher than the tailgate or off of a raised 4x4 truck.
The Tailgate Inserts are placed on the tailgate between the loading platform and the cargo deck. They have a specially designed "arched "profile to make it easier to load anything with minimal ground clearance such as a lawn tractor.
Load Pro easily mounts in your truck bed. There are two brackets that bolt out of sight to the vertical panel between the tailgate and the box. These brackets can be used with or without a bed liner.
Installation is a breeze. Place the Cargo Deck in the back of your truck, drill two mounting holes, and secure the bolts. You then connect the Loading Platform to the roller in the Support Extension.
For stowage, the Loading Platform fits neatly in the cavity underneath the cargo deck where the sliding mechanism will remain free from debris.
Once installed, Load Pro can be left in permanently. However, if you want to remove it, just undo the bolts, slide the Load Pro back, and stand it against a wall. There are even plastic plugs provided that snap into the drilled holes.
The unit's reinforced steel construction is similar to y
our truck's bed and has the same load capacity specifications.
The Cargo Deck is powder-coated and then sprayed with truck box liner anti-slip finish for better traction.
Even if you already have a trailer, you might want to consider Load Pro if you ever need to take extra motor toys along. When the weekend arrives, you can run your buddy's toy onto the Load Pro and all ride together to your favorite getaway.
The Load Pro is available through Etec, 2310 Hanselman Avenue, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada S7L 5Z3 (Telephone: 306/934-3832). Suggested list price for the short box Load Pro is around $700 with the matching ski slide pair retailing for about a hundred bucks extra.
