Amsnow
The Leschasin motor toboggan was manufactured in Rossburn, Manitoba. The "Challenger" model was advertised as sturdy, dependable and economical as well as having the ability to climb steeper hills, break trails in loose snow and increase towing capacity with the use of its "Exclusive Traction Booster." It was said to produce a smooth ride in rough snow conditions or dead windfalls and the free floating track kept shocks at a minimum. Traveling in slush caused no problems due to the wide open track. When forward motion is halted, the standard reverse transmission proves its worth. Specifications are as follows:
The Leschasin Challenger could tow up to 1,500 pounds depending on snow conditions. Price F.O.B. Rossburn is $1,095 but if you wanted the option of lights, electric starter and generator, the price was in-creased by $145.00. AS
