This particular sled is a 1970 model built by Leisure-Mor (yes, the spelling is correct) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Because of the likeness of names this sled should not be confused with the Sno-Pac built by Farmington Engineering in Farmington, Minnesota. The Leisure-Mor product is spelled as "Sno-Pack." The Sno-Pack utilized a conventional bogie wheel suspension and was not really any different in this respect than the other sleds of that era.

The chassis was steel and the method of locomotion was automatic torque sensor sheave type, as was the case with the rest of the 1970 model sleds. The track offered no great surprises and the hood was hinged with a quick release pin setup. Lighting was a twelve volt, 75 watt sealed beam.

Seating capacity was described as being for two adults or one child and one adult but as with all sleds of that time, this was a conditional figure. If the two adults were slight in stature or midgets there would be no problem, but two full sized adults riding two-up would most certainly lead to bad tempers and a trip to the hospital shortly upon completion of the ride.

I would imagine that a fist fight took place before each ride to determine who would NOT ride "shotgun." I can't think of a quicker way to suffer a broken back than to ride double on ANY sled of that period. All sleds advertising "two-up" riding was a figment of the advertising firm's fertile imagination. The person riding "shotgun" always leaned the wrong way going into a turn and this was almost a guarantee for a facefull of snow.
