lawsuit against arctic cat dismissed

On July 10, 2000, Arctic Cat Inc. announced that the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals upheld a previous ruling by the U.S. District Court in Colorado dismissing a lawsuit filed by Injection Research Specialists, Inc., and Pacer Industries, Inc., alleging misappropriation of trade secrets.
Injection Research Specialists and Pacer brought claims against Arctic Cat relating to electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology used on snowmobiles. The Colorado court originally dismissed the claims in December 1998.
Arctic Cat's chief executive officer, Christopher Twomey, said, "We are pleased that the court has reaffirmed our position regarding this case."
