iron range motorsports facility proposed

The Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board (IRRRB) ordered a study of what a motorsports park in Hibbing would bring to the Iron Range region of Minnesota. Results indicated that over 70,000 visitors would head to the Hibbing, Minnesota area if a track was present.
Funds are nearly finalized to construct the facility, which would be set upon 800 acres and include several tracks.
The track would likely host snowmobile events in addition to ATV, truck, vintage, motorcycle, go-cart and cycling events.
There is currently no timeline established for the track's construction and completion.
