The Illinois Association of Snowmobile Clubs will host the 33rd International Snowmobile Congress June 5-9th, 2001 at the Wyndham Northwest Chicago Hotel in Itasca, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago.
Over 650 industry representatives will be attending, including all 27 state snowmobile associations, 11 Canadian provincial associations, international snowmobile administrators, tourism officials, snowmobile publications, snowmobile manufacturers, and representatives from the National Park Service, National Forest Service, and national highway department.
This congress will likely feature participation from European snowmobilers with attendance from representatives from SnoFed (Scandinavian association). In addition, an information packed agenda will help to educate participants in many of the key components of the industry, such as landowner issues and ATVs to name a few.
The ISC will also feature meetings of the CCSO/CCOM Board of Directors, Board of theAmerican Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA), International Association ofSnowmobile Administrators (IASA), International Snowmobile Media Council (ISMC), International Snowmobile Tourism Council, and the International Snowmobile Council and its Chapters.
