Team Arctic has signed Ocean Transport Services Freight Forwarding (OTSFF) Motorsport division and top CSRA (Canadian Snowcross Racing Association) rider Iain Hayden for the 2003-2004 season. This comes in the wake of Team Arctic's announcement that top snocross riders Kurtis and Shaun Crapo signed for the 2003-2004 season.

Twenty-year-old Iain Hayden, from Espanola, Ontario, currently holds the No. 1 plate on the CSRA circuit. He earned the honor during his first season as a Pro rider and only his second season as a snowmobile racer. Hayden claimed 18 wins on the CSRA/ASRA circuit and won the Pro Stock, Pro 600 and Pro Open points titles last year. He tested the 2004 Arctic Cat Sno Pro with Team Arctic this past spring.

"The new Arctic Cat Sno Pro is awesome, Team Arctic has definitely been doing their homework. It jumps much better than any sled I've ever rode and is very durable. I was able to corner it better because it's easy to slide in tight corners," Hayden said. "I can't wait to get out there and win on those Arctic Cats!"

Hayden's crew chief will be his father, Tom Hayden and his other mechanic will be John Bond. Hayden will wear No. 93 when he races this coming season.
For 2003-2004 Hayden will be joined on the OTSFF team by Semi-Pro rider Lee Butler and Pro Women rider Angela Vacchino.

Butler, who lives in Bellville, Ontario, claimed 13 race wins and won all three points titles in the Sport classes on the CSRA circuit last season riding an Arctic Cat. The 21-year-old has been racing sleds for three years and will be making the jump to the Semi-Pro class.

"I'm looking forward to being a part of the OTSFF team. The new Arctic Cat Sno Pro works really well, I can't wait for the season to start," Butler said.

Vacchino of Timmins, Ontario, came in second in the CSRA National Semi-Pro Women points race, claiming eight wins on the CSRA/ASRA circuit last season. This year will be Vacchino's third year racing snowmobiles.

"I'm excited to race the new Arctic Cat and be affiliated with Team Arctic. OTSFF is going to be a great help," Vacchino said. Last season the 20 year-old raced mostly by herself and will no doubt benefit from the huge amount of support Team Arctic and OTSFF will give her.

The OTSFF Motorsport division was started in 1998 and is based in Toronto, Ontario. OTSFF started its snocross team last season and Hayden took home the No. 1 plate on the CSRA circuit riding for OTSFF. "They are highly organized and tried to get me everything I needed to win. They're a super bunch of guys and I'm pumped to work with them again," Hayden said

The OTSFF team is managed by Keith Hamilton. Andre Laurin is the Owner/President of the team.

"We're extremely happy to be working with Team Arctic this coming season. We will be focusing on the CSRA National circuit again this year. The OTSFF team claimed two of three points championships last season and our goal is to claim all three this year. With the support of Team Arctic, the new Sno Pro, and talented riders like Iain, Lee and Angela we are sure to achieve this goal," Laurin said.
