Step 6 and 7:Let the exhaust springs hang down from the exhaust pipe mounting tabs. With the spring puller, hook the bottom of the springs, pull down toward the ground and attach to the muffler mounting tabs.
Line up the muffler's mounting bracket with the muffler mount fitting on the Twin Spar frame. Slip the washer over this fitting on the frame, and slide the cotter pin through the fitting to secure the muffler. Voilà! You've installed a new muffler!
