ho ho ho santa rides an arctic cat

A special holiday promotion between Arctic Cat and America's largest indoor shopping mall will feature the full-line of Arctic Cat snowmobiles and ATVs (32 units) in an elaborate virtual winter showroom. Part of the holiday spectacle will be a new rendition of Santa's sleigh - an Arctic Cat Mountain Cat 600.

Santa's sleigh will be pulled by five ZR 120s in this 150' x 75' display strategically placed in the Nordstrom Court in the Mall of America October 22, 2002 thru January 2, 2003.

Consumers can browse the new models and also custom order their choice of two Arctic Cat youth models; the Arctic Cat 90 ATV and ZR 120 snowmobile, which will be delivered through their hometown dealer. Mall visitors can also register to win a 2003 ZR 120 snowmobile. It's estimated the Arctic Cat brand will be exposed to over 7 million visitors that passing through the Bloomington, Minnesota, shopping center.
 
Although special emphasis will be made on ZR 120 and Arctic Cat 90 ATV models because of the holiday season, visitors can view all Arctic Cat products directly from self-serve kiosks to receive information or talk to professional factory specialists. Special incentives including a $100 matching deposit on ZR 120s and Arctic Cat 90 ATVs are part of the holiday blast.

"The great part about this promotion is the fact that the technology and processes are available to display the product, allow the consumer to purchase their selected model at their point of intent and have the product delivered by using a kiosk via the internet. At that point, customers just need to pick up their machine at the selected Arctic Cat dealer", said Robert Bonev, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Arctic Cat. "It's going to be a great exercise not only because of the large amount of exposure, but also to assist our dealer's holiday sales while measuring tangible results."

In addition to product, members of Team Arctic including Tucker Hibbert plan to make an appearance to sign autographs for an afternoon on a date to be announced soon.
