Amsnow
On Feb. 28th, the Wisconsin state senate passed a bill that requires non-residents of Wisconsin to pay a trail sticker fee of $35, up from $18, starting July 1st in order to use the Wisconsin trails.

On average there are almost 32,000 such stickers sold every year. The increase in cost would bring in $500,000 for the state.

The bill must pass the Assembly and be signed by Gov. Jim Doyle before taking effect.
