While snow may be an issue, snowmobiling's "Legends" are planning to go ahead with their second annual ride, which is held in conjunction with the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame's weekend induction ceremonies. Held at the Sawmill Inn in Grand Rapids, MN, the Hall of Fame will sponsor a variety of activities the weekend of February 22-24th.

The second annual ISHOF "Ride with the Legends" will begin at 10AM on Saturday, February 23, 2002, leaving from the Sawmill Inn, Grand Rapids, MN.
The Legends Ride consists of past ISHOF inductees and special guests who contribute to the growth and promotion of snowmobiling. Invitees scheduled to participate in the second annual Legends Ride include: snowmobile icon Edgar Hetteen; the first man to the North Pole, Ralph Plaisted; Minnesota-to-Moscow riders Lee Busse and Scott Eilertson; ISHOF inductee and Minnesota activist. Larry Koch; snowmobile historian and journalist, Jerry Bassett; and, Hall of Fame founder, Elmer Cone.

If you would like to join the group on their ride and day of celebrating the history of the sport, please contact ISHOF founder and president Elmer Cone at 218-245-1725 or 218-245-2313.
