After 376 laps, Chad Gueco of Alaska won the 39th Annual I-500 Snowmobile Race.

After 75% of the race had been run, I-500 race officials called the race due to safety concerns regarding the weather.

Gueco won the endurance race in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., aboard a Yamaha Apex RTX. Along with co-driver Bill Wilkes, they won the event on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. There was only one mechanical issue, at the 200-mile point, the team pitted to replace an idler wheel and regained the lead before lap 367, when the event was red-flagged for a fast moving snowstorm.

Yamaha had another Apex on the podium in third, with last year's winner Corey Davidson, driving with Travis Hjelle and Troy Hanson.

The final top 10 were:
1. #81 Chad Gueco, Ark.
2. #16 Gabe Bunke, Minn.
3. #3 Corey Davidson, Minn.
4. #57 Todd Krikke, Mich.
5. #1 Shawn Ritche, Ontario
6. #31 Dave Nelson, Mich.
7. #63 Justin Winter, Minn.
8. #20 Tyler Nichols, Mich.
9. #42 Grant Vermeersch, Minn.
