As many of you know, Arctic Cat's Canadian Race Coordinator, Jamie Anseeuw suffered serious spinal cord injuries during a race in March. His injuries have left him unable to walk, and he will go through extensive and costly rehabilitation.
The Can-Am Racing Circuit is planning two fundraisers this year for Jamie and his family. The first is planned for June 18, 1999 at the Oak Bluff Recreation Center in Oak Bluff, Manitoba, Canada (near Winnipeg).
One thousand attending tickets will be sold for $15.00 each, and 1000 non-attending tickets will be sold for $10.00 each. The non-attending ticket-holders' names will be entered into a drawing for a door prize. This social event will have a silent auction going throughout the evening, with a live auction later in the evening.
The second fundraiser is still tentative, but will be held this fall.
