Trim levels, costs and installation tips
The Dive-TEK suspension kit comes in three trim levels.
• The base LI Kit comes with manual air and manual switching for the two front Assault shocks for $975.
• The mid-level EL features onboard air compressor, air-pressure dial gauge and electric thumb switch for adjusting ski shock air pressure. It comes with two Assault ski shocks. Cost is $1,095.
• The EL Plus features onboard air compressor, air-pressure dial gauge and electric thumb switch for adjusting ski shock air pressure. It comes with two Assault ski shocks and an Assault center shock. Cost is $1,575.
It takes a person with a common set of tools and a few snowmobile work stands less than two hours to install a basic system. Most crucial to the install is taking time to drill holes correctly and properly routing the air lines for the shocks and Dive-TEK valve. Karpik says, “The most critical element of the installation is properly mounting the hoses, so they don’t chafe something and won’t hit anything hot or moving.”
