The Elite Motorsports/Cooper's Sales and Service Race Team and its sponsors have had a very successful 2006 season both on and off the race track.

First year driver Jack Gligora finished second in IHRA/NYIRP 1/4-mile Championship points and third in the IHRA / NYIRP 1/8 mile Championship points on the 800 Ski-Doo "Rev" bracket Sled. He also qualified and participated in the 2006 Summit Team Bracket Finals in Salem, Ohio and won the Mid-Season Championship Bike/Sled class at NYIRP.

Amongst many exciting races, "Team Elite" has announced that in 2007 it will actively promote "Breast Cancer Awareness" through its race program. By supporting the Pink Ribbon Riders, a group of snowmobilers who promote breat cancer awareness throughout the Motorsports industry, Team Elite hopes to educate and assist breast cancer victims.
