Arctic Cat racer DJ Ekre showed great skill to post an incredible time in last weeks USCC race. Ekre won the heralded FXR Pro 600 class this last weekend in the second leg of Amsoil's Triple Crown. The United States Cross Country circuit's BIR 200 event took place in Brainerd, Minn., and Ekre won with a blazing hot time of 1 hour, 57 minutes and 3 seconds. Another Cat rider, Ryan Simmons took second in the FXR Pro 600 class with a fast time of 1 hour, 57 minutes and 29 seconds.
The short race-track was only 4.2 miles, but was fast and challenging. The final race of the Triple Crown takes place this coming weekend in Hayward, Wis. The Hayward 300 will be another action packed USCC event and all the action will take place March 1st and 2nd.
