duluth minnesota snocross first stop on worldwide championship tour

The Black Magic Duluth (MN) National returns as the season opener for the World Snowmobile Association's (WSA) international series, the Snocross Worldwide Championship (SWC).
The monstrous event at Spirit Mountain Ski Area in Duluth, Minnesota, will continue with its unique three-day format, and will again occupy its traditional Thanksgiving weekend dates, beginning Friday November 23 and concluding Sunday the 25th .
Friday will include full round robin qualifying action for the first, crucial ESPN Winter X Games Qualifier, qualifying and finals in the Sport classes, and will feature the Winter X Games Qualifier final under the lights with the traditional fireworks display.
Saturday's action will include an initial full round of qualifying in both the Pro Stock and Pro Open classes to determine the who will make it to Sunday's final qualifying rounds. As this is the beginning of a new season, every Pro Stock and Pro Open racer entered will have to compete in Saturday's qualifying rounds. Saturday will also include qualifying and finals in Sport Open, Semi-Pro Fan and Semi-Pro Open.
Sunday will feature full qualifying and finals action in Semi-Pro Stock, as well as in ALL the Pro classes.

"Black Magic is one of the best friends you could ever hope for in our sport and certainly this event, and working with them, Spirit Mountain and the Duluth CVB as partners is a great environment for WSA to kick off a season of showcasing its stars and our premiere international series, the SWC."
