Originally, Brad's AC Performance called its front suspension kit the AWS-10. Arctco didn't like it, since the builder of Arctic Cat snowmobiles felt it was a trademark infringement. Brad's responded to Cat's request to stop using the AWS moniker, changing the product name to Brad's LongTravel (BLT) suspension. No matter, Brad's suspension kit delivers as promised.Depending on the specific Arctic Cat model, the BLT is essentially custom-designed to fit stock or modified chassis and suspension setups. We installed our BLT on a 1996 EXT 580 EFI with "geezer" features like electric start and reverse.

Fortunately for do-it-yourselfers, Brad's provides logical, step-by-step instructions. We found just one typographical error, but it wasn't critical. In addition to crystal-clear installation instructions, you get a pair of upper and lower control arms, tie rod extensions and long piston travel Works Performance shock absorbers.

The most trouble you'll have installing Brad's long travel AWS-type suspension will come from your sled. Alignment between Cat's bellypan and nose acces sports is not perfect and may have you uttering a few R-rated phrases. Atleast our project sled provoked a few.
