"Shock calibration on the Ski-Doo MXZ X 1200 4-TEC was perfect. The MXZ also outshines the Nytro in the corners and feels faster on top end, but takes longer to get there. Nytro's front end is sooo much better than the '07 and it's a fun sled to ride. The sound, power and sporty feel of the Nytro are what snowmobiling is all about for the aggressive rider."
- Mark Boncher, Senior Editor

"Nytro's motor is good, as is the clutching. It accelerated hard and has a comfortable seating arrangement, but I felt it was a bit unpredictable in corners, sometimes it would push and other times it was fine. I'm a more aggressive rider and got spoiled on the Ski-Doo. The MXZ turns when you want it to turn so you get to trust it and can relax a little. You don't feel like you have to horse the snowmobile around so much. But I had a hard time getting used to the seat and it's a cold machine. The engine? It's sneaky smooth. …So where's the turbo?"
