The Polaris Pro-RMK 800 gets our nod as Best Mountain Sled for the way it handles in deep snow and steep mountain terrain. The chassis geometry and slim bodywork make this machine easy to roll onto one ski and on sidehills the sled is predictable and holds a line. It is lightweight and its track helps it get up on the snow and keep moving forward even on deep powder inclines. It took a few rides, but once we learned how to handle the Pro, the machine’s stable, but nimble, handling allowed us to access steeper and more technical terrain than ever before. RMK is a blast to ride and feels light and flickable with the new rigid chassis design and rider positioning. Everything from the Pro Taper bars to the seat height and footwells just feel right. This is a good-looking sled with hard lines and great throttle response. The RMK brings us even closer to the ultimate mountain snowmobile.
