By December 2008 BRP Finland plans on moving to a new manufacturing facility in Rovaniemi, Finland. Pending negotiations are still going on, but BRP plans on signing a 15-year lease.
The new 19,000 square metre facility will regroup BRP Finland's distribution centre, assembly and fabrication lines, logistic centre and R&D functions.
Jose Boisjoli, president and chief executive officer of BRP said that, "This investment confirms our commitment to the Scandinavian market and to the Lynx snowmobile brand."
BRP Finland develops and manufacturers Lynx snowmobiles and Ski-Doo Skandic models.
