After a three year run, Scorpion Recreational Products has reportedly closed the doors on its operation. All phone lines have been disconnected and the company's website has been turned off, as well. Sources close to the company informed us that company president John Mitchell had been talking about the impending shutdown, but had given no timeline for its occurrence.
SRP will be remembered for producing a handful of black TKX 890s, powered by a PSI Genesis 890 twin. The sled used a direct drive system, bypassng the chaincase and jackshaft setup of conventional snowmobiles.
