We're received word that the eight drivers who qualified for the Brainerd Muscle Sled Shootout last year have been invited back to race again this year.
Apparently the track management has been in communication with the racers and has extended them an invitation to come back, despite NSSR's recent closure. All of last year's rules will apply to this year's competition, although it is unclear who will be performing the tech operations. The NHRA National event is scheduled for August 18 through August 20. We'll be up there to cover the race.
