bombardier recreational products to have new coo

Mr. Michel Baril will succeed current President and Chief Operating Officer of Bombardier Recreational Products, Mr. Pierre Beaudoin, on February 1, 2001.

Baril joined Bombardier in 1979 and since then has held various key upper management positions at Bombardier Transport and Bombardier Aerospace.

"I am very happy to join the leadership team of the recreational products industry. Bombardier, Sea-Doo and Ski-Doo are great names and unique recreational experiences. I am eager to work with my colleagues to continue offering our customers quality products on the leading edge," said Baril.

Beaudoin has agreed to become President of Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft, starting February 1, 2001. "The business aircraft sector is a very interesting challenge for me, and I will apply what I have learned over the years in recreational products, a constantly changing industry. Recreational products have played an important role since my earliest childhood and this industry will always be a part of my life," Beaudoin said.
