This past Friday (February 11) Bombardier added the Traxter XT™ to its ATV model lineup. Offering functional design to a sporty look, the Traxter XT boasts a host of sought-after features like hand protectors, a powerful winch and solid load supports. Its front and back shock absorbers are reinforced to handle some of the most challenging terrain.
The Vice President of Marketing and Communications ATV, Dominique Godbout, remarked: "Bombardier believes in the tremendous potential of the ATV market and will continue to invest in this product line. We want to satisfy the needs of ATV users and give them the best ATVs on the market".
Traxter XT has inherited the innovative characteristics of the original Traxter along with eye-catching yellow appearance, handling, power, and engine reliability.
According to Godbout, when Bombardier Recreational Products unveiled its first ATV in February 1998, it was entering a rapidly growing market. In 1999, sales soared to almost 600,000 units, an increase of about 25% compared to the previous year. "Our goal is clear: in the next few years we want to be among the industry leaders."
