Imagine how Ski-Doo Racing's joy of signing the sport's top snocrosser to a multi-year deal changed to concern when Blair Morgan was injured at a Canadian motocross event in British Columbia a week after signing the new deal. Most of the concern has dissipated as Ski-Doo racing officials report that doctors expect Morgan to fully recover by the first snocross race.

That's good news for snocross fans - and Ski-Doo Racing - as Blair Morgan Racing signed a three-year contract with Bombardier Recreational Products Monday to race for Ski-Doo® through the 2005-2006 snocross season. The team, created in 2001, has raced Ski-Doos for the past two seasons, quickly becoming one of the most successful teams in professional snocross.

"Blair and the team's performances have really shown the incredible capabilities of our MX Z™-REV™ snowmobiles and put a bright spotlight on the Ski-Doo brand," Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Pierre Arsenault, said in a press release.

Blair Morgan Racing can count among some of its accolades, the Pro Open and Pro Stock World Snowmobile Association season championships won by Blair last year while his teammate, Carl Kuster, took third place. Points title in the Pro Women's Class went to Amanda Johnson last year, also.

Although terms of the agreement have not been disclosed, team owner and racer, Blair Morgan, said the decision to stick with Bombardier was based on the fact that both parties care about the same thing- winning. "The Ski-Doo race snowmobiles have shown that they are the best out there. And the Ski-Doo people have shown that they're best to work with," he said in the press release.
