Look for some of the hottest Arctic Cat snocross racers to be using handbuilt modified race engines from Black Magic Motorsports of Thief River Falls, MN, this season. Black Magic president Tim Berg announced that his company has signed an exclusive agreement with some of Cat's top snocross racing stars.
Pro racers enjoying Black Magic sponsorship and support include last season's snocross sensation Blair Morgan, Pro 440 regional champion Aaron Scheel, Pro Open champ Earl Reimer and Carl Kuster. These professional riders will use Black Magic built mod engines in the World Snowmobile Association's Snocross World Wide series.
Black Magic's Berg expects to debut some new technology with the company's modified racing motors as well as develop new tricks in high performance clutching and suspension designs.
"This is our proving grounds and when our racers win, so do… our customers," emphasizes Berg.
