When professional snocross and freestyle rider Chris Burandt was putting together his new business - Burandt's Backcountry Adventures - he never dreamed that his Kemmling, Colo., based operation would see as much snow as it has this year.
AmSnow just received Burandt's latest update and it looks like a huge storm just dropped another 4 ft. of fresh snow in his backyard!
AmSnow's western crew was able to take a ride with Chris this year and see just what his whole Backcountry Adventures entails. Our boys had a blast and learned plenty from Burandt, but you'll have to wait until the fall when our next issues come out to read about it!
For now, we suggest you book your own trip with Chris and learn what real mountain riding is all about. Burandt's Backcountry Adventures will be open until June and has just dropped prices for late season riders wanting to take a shot riding big hills with Chris on the new 2009 Arctic Cat M-Cats.
That's right, Burandt is renting the all new 2009s to his patrons, and between now and June 1, you can get snowmobile rentals at half price and $100 off lodging. Burandt will also be offering packages that include moto/dirt-biking in the morning and snowmobiling in the afternoon. How perfect a day is that?
