arvinmeritor announces exhaust contract with arctic cat

ArvinMeritor, manufacturer of RydeFX shocks, has signed a contract to supply exhaust mufflers to Arctic Cat for its 2002 four-stroke snowmobiles.
"ArvinMeritor values the opportunity to apply our noise reduction expertise to the development of environmentally friendly snowmobiles with Arctic Cat," said Craig Stinson, president, ArvinMeritor Exhaust Systems.
Arctic Cat has been a customer of ArvinMeritor's Ride Control division, however the latest contract marks ArvinMeritor's first opportunity to supply exhaust system components to a snowmobile manufacturer. The agreement is the result of ArvinMeritor Exhaust Systems efforts to expand its product base outside of its more traditional passenger car and light truck markets.
