Arctic Cat Inc. announced last week that it will manufacture five utility-class ATV models for distribution in select European agricultural markets under the Massey Ferguson® brand name.

Massey Ferguson, which manufactures farm tractors, selected Arctic Cat as its agricultural ATV supplier following two years of testing a variety of machines. "The majority of ATVs sold outside of North America are used primarily for agricultural purposes," said Arctic Cat President and CEO Chris Twomey.

Two- and four-wheel drive ATVs will be available immediately at Massey Ferguson dealerships in the United Kingdom. Cat and Massey Ferguson parent company, AGCO Corporation, also plan market evaluations in other European markets as well as Africa, the Middle East, East Asia and the Pacific Rim. They will not be available in North America.

Massey Ferguson noted in its product announcement, "The ATVs are ideally suited to demanding work on rugged terrain found on many farms in United Kingdom markets."
