Weighty Issues

So to sum it up, Cat's engineer and design team spent a ton of time revamping the whole sled- from nose to flap- to reduce or relocate the Sno Pro's weight. The engine was lowered deep into the belly, and moved back 1.69 inches. The bulkhead chassis system was completely redesigned in the process. The track and tunnel system was narrowed and elongated for further weight reduction. Even the ski saddles were punched out to shed a few ounces. Overall, engineers reduced the number of parts by roughly a quarter. The end result: a stock Sno Pro that tips the scales at 424 factory pounds dry.
