arctic cat names new race manager

Amsnow
Arctic Cat has named racing veteran Russ Ebert to run its snowmobile racing program.

Ebert brings plenty of experience with him, including several decades of serving as crew chiefs on both snowmobile and NASCAR teams for such notables as Tucker Hibbert and Dick Trickle. Cat believes the team will benefit immediately from Ebert's hands-on involvement and racing knowledge.

"Russ is one of the most experienced and well respected members in the snowmobile racing community and will be a huge asset to Arctic Cat," said Cat's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Robert Bonev.

Cat's race manager position has been open since early December when Brian Sturgeon left. Having taken the reigns, Ebert will be finalizing contracts for next season, training racers and mechanics and making sure Cat is ready for another winning season. Snocross racer Robbie Malinoski won the Pro Open and Pro Stock Driver's Championships this past season on the WPSA PowerSports Snowmobile Tour.

"We race to win, anything else is a waste of time," says Ebert.
