arctic cat increases atv production

A fifty percent increase in ATV production capacity was announced by Arctic Cat recently. On October 2, the production line expanded and is now longer and more spacious than the previous one.

"Arctic Cat has expanded its ATV manufacturing capacities to respond to our sales growth. We have done so in a manner that will allow us to improve our quality, reduce our costs and allow for more flexibility in model switches," said Arctic Cat Vice President - Manufacturing, Ron Ray.

Updates on the new line include improved ergonomics to employees including lighting, conveyor height and position, and forklift safety. Some individual workstations have also been improved with the addition of ergonomic lifts and other aides.
