Greg Nielsen unofficially broke the Guinness World Record for the longest distance traveled over water on a snowmobile. His GPS showed he had covered 94.86 kilometers on the Wapiti River in northwestern Alberta. To break the record he had to travel more than the 69.28 kilometers Kyle Nelson did a year ago on Cowan Lake in Saskatchewan.
