The 1970 Arlberg snowmobile was offered in six different configurations. Models were the 15, 20, 20E, 25WT, 25EWT and Magnum 340. All single cylinder engines were Sachs while the twin cylinder engines used on the 25WT and 25EWT were made by Kohler. Even the Magnum 340 was a single Sachs. Horsepower ranged from 15 on the model 15 to 29 on the Magnum 340. Electric start was available on the Model 20 and Model 25EWT only. All tracks were 15 inches except for the Model 25WT and 25EWT which were 18 inch wide. Speedometer, tachometer and ampmeter were available as dealer installed extras on certain models.
Having never seen an Arlberg up close and personal, I'd be surprised to learn that it was built anyplace except Featherweight Aluminum (builder of Alouette). In my opinion the only difference between the two brands is the hood.
