Improving X3
Arctic Cat revealed three main improvements for most 2015 sleds. First, a front-mounted wheel kit on the rear suspension to prevent the rail tip from snagging on the track window.
Second, magnesium idler wheel blocks on the rear suspension with 6mm fasterers rather than aluminum to reduce weight.
Third, most sleds get a new driven shaft assembly with larger diameter and snap-ring bearing mount instead of a taper-lock bearing. Servicing should be much easier!
For rides with Fox Float 3 shocks, bleed shim valving is employed in front and rear for more comfort and control in big bumps. Also new to Cat’s with Float 3s is a side port air fill location for easier calibration of the rear arm shock.
