The odometer just rolled over 1100 miles on our Indy 800 test sled and this one has us very impressed. About half the miles so far on this sled were in stock form and there is certainly nothing wrong with this sled, not one bit, in stock form.

The Indy is fast, fun, handles beautifully, ergonomically comfortable, gets fantastically good oil efficiency, and looks stunning. Our SP has electric start and the more limited graphics package. Our only complaint with this sled was that the gas shocks it came with were simply not up to the task of riding any really challenging bump sections. Also, at right around 12 mpg this one gets only standard fuel economy.

We have slowly added aftermarket pieces to this sled as it was our ‘project sled’ for this year. Currently is has 96 Stud Boy PowerPoint studs with double Pro-Lite backers, a new Hayes Brake TrailTrac controlled braking system on it (think ABS for sleds), a full complement of Hygear custom Axis shocks both up front and in the skid and all 4 shocks were calibrated for fairly aggressive trail riding, a set of Curve Industries skis, a custom tunnel wrap by StickyBoyz, Levi Lavallee team handgaurds by Rox Speed FX, plus handlebar and rear storage bags from Polaris.

We will update you at the end of the year as to how all these add-ons worked for us, but up till now there have been no problems with our sled and zero problems with any of our aftermarket add-ons. This sled is now one of the best handling sleds I have ever ridden. I would be confident recommending the ski, brake, traction, and shock package we have on this sled to any rider.
